STAKEHOLDERS: Your work has been shortlisted for a #HSJvalue @HSJ_Awards

Dear Stakeholders

The HEE South regional Intellectual Disability workforce programme has one aim and that it to:

to create a sustainable and secure workforce supply, for people that have Intellectual Disabilities and/ or Autism, who require support from and/ or access to services

whatever your role, you have all contributed to the development of the programme and are helping people to live the lives they want and need. We are really please to be able to share with you that the programme you have helped shape and create has been shortlisted as a

finalist in this years HSJ Awards.

What are the HSJ Awards?

“The HSJ Awards have been celebrating healthcare excellence for 39 years through huge political, technological and financial challenges within the sector. As the new Long-Term Plan creates opportunities for £20bn of investment, what innovations and improvements might be made? How are you improving outcomes, experience and value?

Through a rigorous, fair and transparent judging process the awards produce a roll call of the best organisations, teams and people in the NHS and the wider health sector.

What happens next?

Judging will take place for us on the 5th of April in London, and we will find out the results at the HSJ Value Awards on the 23rd of May in Manchester.

Why is this kind of thing important?

One of the major principles of the way we work has been to where ever possible:

Not needlessly doing more but supporting the sharing of what we already know and innovating and developing where you tell use there are gaps

Being a finalist gives us a platform to share & spread your work with others that working in different parts of the country and in different sectors.

We will keep you updated over the coming months via update emails, blogs and social media.

Thank you all for helping people live the life they deserve.

Have a great day

Best regards
